Dingyue(Amber) Cao is a creative and energetic individual who applies design thinking and strategic innovation to every aspect of her life and work. Dingyue born and raised in Chongqing, China. She left home to Utah in United States at the age of 16 to study and live with a host family as an exchange student. This one year journey teaches her to sense the world in different perspectives that resonate with her until today. The creative license she gained from the experience also empowered her to pursue art and design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for her undergraduate degree. Later she moved to New York to work in MoMA, and an assistant design consultant. She now enjoy working at Areaware for product development, and tradeshow operation, at the same time studying Design Management Master Program at Pratt Institute.
Amber wants to combine her personal and professional experience with her vision of a better-connected world into a life-time project. To create a brand that represents a shared value and generate collective impact from artists, designers, chefs, journalists, musicians, and many more people in her community.
